Billie No.1

Free Acting Classes in Napier and Hawke’s Bay

Acting training usually costs money most emerging performers do not have. Billie No.1 runs acting workshops, screen work, audition practice and live performance for free, so the only thing you need to bring is commitment.

Napier was rebuilt in art deco style after the 1931 earthquake, and its streets, the Marine Parade and the Hawke’s Bay vineyards give a look you cannot find anywhere else in New Zealand. Food, wine and tourism keep local creative work busy. The programme is open to emerging artists from Napier. Get in touch to find out what is running and how to take part from there.

What’s included

Programme members can work on real EYWA and Billie productions: music videos, short films and performances.
