Billie No.1

Free Film Production Training in Tauranga

Film school teaches theory first. Billie No.1 puts emerging filmmakers on real shoots, learning camera, directing, lighting, sound and editing by doing them, alongside the Billie production team and at no cost.

Tauranga and Mount Maunganui bring beaches, the harbour and Mauao itself, and the Bay of Plenty has some of the fastest population growth in the country. Summer events and a lifestyle-driven economy create steady demand for content. The programme is open to emerging artists from Tauranga. Get in touch to find out what is running and how to take part from there.
